Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses Giveaway – CLOSED

Awhile ago I received my favorite sunglasses, the Oakley Beckon from the Sunglasses Shop.

I had never owned a pair of Oakley sunglasses before (I’ve worn their ski goggles) and was surprised at how well they married function and fashion: they don’t slip or fog up when I go running and I dig the big squ-oval shape.

I love these bad boys, wear them everywhere and would recommend a pair to anyone who wants all-in-one sunglasses.

So when the Sunglasses Shop offered to send me an another pair to try, I was all set on going with another style of Oakleys until my husband was like, Try something new; you might find another style or brand you love! Spoken like the true shopping guru that he is.

I decided on a pair of Ray-Bans because again, I had never owned a pair and they’re such a cool, classic look. They look effortless and I always think of Angelina Jolie or this cool cat in them.

I ended up choosing the Ray-Ban Aviator; the Wayfarer is also really popular but not so much my style. There’s a ton of different color and frame options so you could go for a more silvery gunmetal look or warmer with gold and brown tones.

{This is the specific gunmetal Aviator that I chose.}

I love them – to me, they’re so effortlessly chic and I think the style complements a lot of different face shapes. I wouldn’t wear these running but for lifestyle sunglasses, they’re easy because they’re neutral and go with everything.

Just a tip: the Aviators come in three different sizes (small, medium, and large) and I didn’t want them to be like tiny Elton John-spectacles so I choose the medium, but if I were to order again, I might go with a small. So if you’re waffling between sizes, you might want to size down.
