No turkey trot this year…
But I started with an 8:02 mile and sped up until I hit the last couple at 7:05.
I love starting a holiday or special day with a run, but then again I’m one of those weirdos who loves starting any day with a run.
Some sidewalk motivation I saw last week near a local elementary school on my walk with Marni…

My tradition of running on Thanksgiving turned into me doing the half in Atlanta *hopefully* every year – I love it! Love the sidewalk motivation. We have sidewalk chalk… I’m tempted to get crafty in our neighborhood

I love when my kids come home and tell me they ran at school for P.E. or any time kids run (especially when they think it’s racing). My kids were SO SO happy to participate in my Virtual Turkey Trot 5K yesterday. At the dinner table when we were discussing our ‘Things I’m thankful for’, my 10 year old said it was the highlight of his Thanksgiving, which of course melted my heart! I hope you, Jaybob and Marni had a fab day.
