WORKOUT -
Rest day
I did 18 yesterday and want to get in another long run tomorrow before I head out of town for a couple days.
So today’s a “Go comatose for me, baby” day. You know what I’m talking about… name that movie.
So I’ll be Compex’ing it up on the couch while Jaymo gets all furious at all his fantasy football players that aren’t doing well… it should be fun.
With the Compex stimulator you need to replace the adhesive electrodes every so often, but if you’re cheap like me, you can make them last a long time.
The other coolio thing I received in the mail yesterday was new BIC Bands, lots of new colors and designs:

YESTERDAY
Yesterday we drove up to LA to go to a USC football game with some friends.
Being that I barely knew USC (University of Southern CALIFORNIA) was in California, I’m sure I was a stupendous fan.

I saved on shampoo because I didn’t wash my hair. boom. Dave Ramsey, have your people call my people.
We walked through the USC campus – I had never been to a college football game and went to a very small private college that didn’t have a football team so I couldn’t believe all the people out tailgating.

Some of the touchdowns were cool and all, but watching the cheerleaders and halftime show was way better.

Oh yeah, there was some football played and someone won I think.
More importantly, we went out to eat beforehand at LA Live and they were setting up for the Emmys today. Now this is my sorta thing…

As I was reading this, I kid you not, my husband was yelling at the TV because of a football game where somebody he started for his fantasy football got injured and the guy he was debating putting in ran 227 yards. They do know this isn’t real, right? I mean it says fantasy in the title…. so you would think…
I think you should go back and watch the red carpet for the Emmys tonight. And then I can live vicariously through you. Wait. I kinda already do that. Dang.
Dirty hair is the ONLY way to get my hair to hold any curl. Girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
Ha! My husband’s fantasy league had a team drop out this year and he suggested my son and I co-manage a team together (not that I know anything about football). So now instead of having one person yelling at the TV, there are three of us. Although I don’t care any more about football than I did before, he knows how competitive I am so, of course, I want to win.

I’ve only been to one football game in my life, the BC Lions here in BC. You could say football isn’t my top pick for a sporting event (hello? hockey), but it’s fun to people watch that’s for sure because football fans are men.tal.
Ooooh, the Emmys. Now I know what I’m doing tonight….

On a cruise and we just spent the day in Astoria, the highlight of the day was meeting your Mom

I finally saw our local team play a bit today. They actually won! The entire city is in shock.

I love big time football games like that. So much fun! In middle school and high school, my best friend’s dad was the Yale football coach, so I went to all of the games and sat in the sky box. So fancy!

I went to Auburn and football is pretty much life down there..well I guess anywhere in the South. We are going down there for the Auburn vs Texas A&M game the last weekend in October and I can’t wait because it’s been 2 years since I’ve been to Auburn and that’s the longest I’ve ever gone..not ok! We almost beat LSU (#2 ranked in the nation) this past Saturday so it was a tough loss to say the least.
