Big day today people, big day…
I found $.24 on my run.
And then found another penny at Target. I’m in the money, baby.
This morning I went out to breakfast at The Beach House in Laguna Beach with Sierra from Posh Meets Pavement who’s also running ZOOMA Great Lakes next month.
You know how some people are just naturally interesting and have the craziest life stories? I feel like that’s Sierra.
I wanted to ask her a thousand questions, but since we were on a first date, I kept it to a polite 550.
Sierra’s lived and traveled all over the world. Wanna see what a serious first class international flight looks like? Check it out, wow.
After breakfast I ran a couple errands for necessities and stopped at Target which led to some non-necessary clothes purchases…
I passed on both the blue jeans and chambray shirt, wasn’t in love with either.
But I did buy this long sleeve lace dress… in 2 different colors. What can I say, I like a lace dress. and chocolate milk.
I can’t find the link online, but this is the short sleeve version of it.
Who was the last blog person that you’ve met in person? Link up to them in the comments if you’re awesome.

That dress is so cute! Love it.
Never met a blogger I read in person. I just pretend that when they write they are writing to me..their best friend.
Not going to lie when we were in Astoria a couple of weeks ago at the Safeway, I knew you were visiting your family there and totally kept an eye out hoping to run into you to tell you how much I love your blog and sarcastic humour.
I’ve never met another blogger, although i wouldn’t be opposed to it. I don’t travel that often and most of the bloggers I follow don’t live in Florida. I read Sierra’s blog too.
I just met Beth from Shut Up And Run this afternoon at the Denver Rock’n'Roll Expo! So so so nice!
i met her last year at vegas rnr, she is super duper sweet.
Oh my god, I am in LOVE with your natural beach hair. You pull it off so well. And I don’t know how old you are, but your husband is a lucky man, because you look about 17. And every woman wishes they could look perpetually 17. Um, or I do?
Love Target! I feel like it’s hit or miss with their clothes. Like either I walk thru the entire store and want it all or nothing. Except for baby stuff, they always have cute baby stuff.
I met Heather (http://365awesomedays.blogspot.com/) for a brief moment at that PCRF half, I ran for team Gab.
I saw you at the Road Runner “run like a girl” a few weeks back but felt like a dork to stop and say high. I was the pregnant girl with the green Bob stroller and my little girl, showed up in one of your photos. Am I cool now?
I think I spoke to Sarah (http://sarahoual.com/) briefly at a 6 hour charity run at a park in Irvine last year but didn’t follow her blog then.
She’s not a blogger but I’m stalking Mirinda Carfrae (1st in Ironman ’10) so maybe I can do a race she is doing and snap a shameless pic.
I have never met a blogger in real life. I feel like it would be a weird experience though at first….you know so much about them but yet still have no idea what they will be like. But then I imagine we’d be instant besties.
I saw that lace dress a few days ago and thought of the one you wore to the Refuel event.
You rocked it!
I just met http://www.hungryrunnergirl.com/ this week. She is super cute & very nice.
one of the nicest people i have ever met. love her.
I have the cream short sleeved!
I had to go check out Sierra’s website and then I had to watch her wedding video and then I had to find the Kleenex because it made me all weepy. I just posted THIS MORNING about bloggers I’ve met IRL! The 3 blogger girlfriends I went out with last night are: 3kidsandabreakdown.com/, letthedogout.com/ and http://www.jenniferpells.com/blog/. Hopefully these hyperlinks will work because I am seriously techno-dumb.
Dress is cute! And damn on the first class travel.
The Kidless Kronicles
I’ve never met a blogger in real life, but maybe someday I’ll run into you on one of my work trips to Irvine … or not because I do nothing but work and go to the yardhouse with a bunch of middle aged men …
I have never thought of looking at the juniors dresses at Target, but now I’m going to! I almost always buy juniors jackets because they’re so much cheaper but for whatever reason have no ventured into any other juniors clothing.
I actually loved the jean shorts..
Ok..last blogger..http://chellesjourneys.blogspot.com/ she is awesome!
The one and only Monica…your red headed friend.
at FitBloggin in Baltimore.
say hi to that turd for me!
Love the lace dress! Totally stealing your style on that one and hunting it down.

Methinks we need to have a runbloggin’ Beach House gathering. Just sayin’. I know we usually use it to impress others not from the area, but we should just impress ourselves there one day.
I think my most recent blog meetup was Heather… http://365awesomedays.blogspot.com at Souplantation last month. But I SWEAR I saw a blogger on the trail the other day I just can’t put the name with the face. But the face was so darn familiar it must be someone I’ve seen on the interwebz.
The lace dress is a winner. Actually the chambray shirt looks good – I think you should go back and get it!
I really like the Chambray shirt & adore the lace dress. I’ve been banned from Target, I have no self control in there
And here in rural Montana I doubt I’ll be running into any blogging celebs anytime soon. I did meet Dennis Quaid–does he blog?
Sorry, sue! Didn’t mean to reply to your comment, just the blog :/
Love those dresses-super cute! I adore shopping at Target-good stuff and cheap-fabulous combo!
I want you to know that at first inspection of this blog, I had my reservations about liking you because I was super-jealous of your natural marathoning ability and cuteness. But now, after seeing that you sometimes don’t wash your hair and collect coins on your runs, I know that we are kindred spirits. You are awesome. And yeah I don’t know what it is about the chambray shirts at Target but you think they’re going to be awesome and they just aren’t. Bummmmaaaaa
thanks for not not liking me because of my ability to run?! yeah, that sounded normal in my head.
I just met up with Steph Chows at a wedding, but that’s because she’s my husband’s family friend. Still fun, though.
when are we meeting? It’s time….MARBLERYE TIME
Love your blog!
I an obsessed with that black dress and was so sad that it wasn’t online. I stopped at Target and they had black, mauve, and plum! Thanks for posting it!
