Yesterday I sat and ate and watched the PGA Championship and it was awesome. I ate so much. Some of you are all, “Wow, you fatty, you ate 2 whole servings of baked tortilla chips?!”
Ummmm, I ate so much yesterday afternoon and a late dinner at home that I ran 22 miles today on an “empty” stomach – besides coffee I didn’t have a single thing and wasn’t even hungry. Can’t say I’ve ever done that before.
I brought energy bars and gels and crap and didn’t touch any of it. Now, that’s some dedicated and serious day eating.
Anyways, a recap of the morning run if you’re my mom and actually care: (love you Mom!)
*I got up early and ran 7.25 miles at 6am near my house.
Monica had more miles to do, but I’m a wimp and it was at least a balmy 52* out so I headed to the gym. (It was really in the low 70s which is like 95* to non-SoCalians)
*I ran 7.75 miles at the gym for a total of 22 miles.
But before I went to the gym I stopped by Starbucks for a little caffeine… I had only 1 cup of coffee at home and anything less than 2, I function at one notch above braindead.
I even brought my coffee into the gym with me. Uggh I’m such a Southern Californian.
By the way, if your smoothie tastes like funk, add some frozen banana chunks – they add sweetness, creaminess and monkey business. and potassium.
Check out the top 10 benefits of bananas. #11 being that they make amazing outfits.
Just don’t freeze your bananas without peeling them first. I cut mine up in small chunks because I’m not cool enough to have a VitaMixer. I want one, but the hus told me that I’d have to return my new YSL wedges to get one.
Uh, where’s my hand mixer?
Tell me a favorite (or any) costume you’ve made, worn, dressed up in.
I love love love dressing up for races (this post includes some of them), but I liked really dressing up for Tinkerbell with Monica (her recap, I should probably dedicate this post to her, huh) because I handmade that costume.
I remember as a kid dressing up for Halloween as a nurse, a Jelly Belly, a witch, a baseball player and in college, Britney Spears.
