26.2 Apparel just came out with a new 2012 line of gear and over the next day or so I’m going to preview a little of it for you.
I’ll pretend to be a model and you can pretend not to throw up.
When I heard they were first doing a new line I said, You have to have a black capri. You know, because everyone with clothing lines listens to me.
But I think that every lady needs a pair of black workout capris – whether you work out or not. Heck, if my mom got into the Zella workout leggings, everyone should.
They’re comfortable, can be flattering on every body type and they look great in most occasions, whether you’re running, running errands or running away from your kids.
That’s why my favorite piece of the new 26.2 line is the capri pant with waistband in the tie-dye grey/black (also comes in fuchsia/black).
They have a pocket in the back for gels and have enough stretch and give to pretend you’re Gabby Douglas but enough spandex to keep you sucked in so you feel like Gisele.
The 26.2 logo on the hip is small but reflective, a nice safety feature.
These capris sit lower on your hips which I completely prefer, but if you like a little more coverage, the other new style that 26.2 has is the capri pant:
It’s a little longer, the waist is a little higher and it feels like the sizing is a bit more generous so if you’re looking for more coverage and a little more fabric, check these ones out.
(For size comparison, all of my pairs are size small.)
One other tip: If you’re thinking,I like the look and want a pair but I don’t have the backside for it, it’s too much spandex, I can’t wear something that tight, try wearing a longer tank or shirt to cover a little more. I do this all the time… it could be why 5 people searched my site today for “skinnyrunner pregnant.” ummm no.
Layer a longer tank (my hot pink one below is from Costco) under a shirt even.
Both styles of capris go for $50 but right now you can get free shipping and a free 26.2 tote when you order a pair.
