Hey guys, sorta busy at the moment…
One of the great things about blogging is the friends you make.
(Another great thing is free Mizunos. just saying.)
Here’s a few of the bloggers that I’ve not only met in real life, but have become real life friends…
(Forgive me if I’ve forgotten some peeps; I’m supposed to be working on the boat as I write this so I’m super rushed and only functioning on half a brain, per usual.
So if you’re an IRL homie, you know I got love for you.)
Heather, sitting right next to me, is a local SoCal blogger and even though she’s busy and got serious stuff on her plate, she’s always down to meet up for froyo or Souplantation. And she just ran her first marathon!
Monica is my walking buddy and homie. She’s super real and super funny and we can talk about all things blogging or just other stuff like how lucky our husbands are to have us.
Janae (with Catie) is one the nicest people I’ve met. Although we don’t live near each other, we’ve still managed to eat froyo together, run along the beach and even run the NYC Marathon together.
She’s having a baby and my husband acts like one so we’ll always have that in common…
Pam is the second/tied for first nicest person in the world. She is such a dedicated runner and is always down to go for an early morning run or out to lunch. She’s also one of the most unselfish people I know. You need a Pam in your life!
Chacha is the littlest runner who I got to know better during Ragnar. She is one super friendly, easy to talk to girl and just ran a 50K. boom.
Nicole (on the left) is one of those people you wish lived closer to you and was way less busy so you could get to know her better. She is so dang sweet. and has some killer abs if you wanted to know.
Margot is a quiet girl (or maybe she just can’t get a word in with my loudmouth self) and it takes awhile to get to know her, but she is another funny, super chill person who’s really easy to hang out with and be around.
We ran the Eugene Marathon together and I met her boyfriend who is one of the nicest guys around.
Sarah scared me when I first read her blog – I just knew she would probably stab me. Turns out she didn’t and she’s a rad person to hang out with or run with. She’s funny and always down to have a good time. Her and her jazz hands also paced me for part of my first 50K.
Katie is my non-running friend; we walk together and hang out all the time and our husbands are dating each other, but we don’t have to talk about mile splits to be close and I like that. Sometimes you can only talk about running so much.
Bri teaches my favorite Piloxing and barre classes that I am going to get back to at some point, love her classes! She has a lot of helpful class reviews on her blog and actually introduced me to barre classes in the first place.

I’m brand new to blogging so I don’t have any blogging friends YET but I can’t wait to start meeting people and getting to know everyone in the community better! It’s so great to read about all of the awesome relationships you have formed!
I don’t have any friends from blogging, but I have several people I met through online forums (MyFitnessPal.com) that I have become friends with. Several of us actually run together on a weekly basis now and are headed to Chicago for the RnR half this weekend!
I have a few good blog friends. Sadly, none of them are close so we don’t get to run together, we just get to talk about running together. Blogging is so strange. I just had a friend ask me how many “random internet friends” I had.
I haven’t met any of the bloggers in person but I hope I get to one day. Such a supportive and encouraging group of women, I’m so thankful for them!
I.miss.you! As soon as you are back we need to get together. In good news I am moving soon and will be much closer
That means we’re in for all kinds of awesome, right? House warming party will be in full effect! Now if I could just get out of corporate America. Winning lotto ticket anyone?
You’re as close as I’ve got to a blogging friend
Unless it counts if I stalk professional triathletes…I read the following blogs and have met the ladies at various races, but I wouldn’t say we’re friends! Well, Bree rides bikes with my parents, so maybe that counts.
Bree Wee
Hillary Biscay
those are some pretty amazing friends (blends). I’d say youre a lucky gal, but then again, they are lucky to have YOU!
Still pretty new to having my blog or perhaps just not cool enough – not sure…
I did meet some great friends from when I used to go onto the Runners World forums, I guess that kinda counts.
Yay! I am friends with Monica as well, she used to live 5 mins away from me in MD and we only hangout ONCE. But meet up at other conferences, she is sooo funny and inappropriate! I love it
Most of my other blog friends live in MD and we get together for dinner, I am so thankful that they love to eat just as much as I do!!!!
We only met up once because you were too busy. Not cool lady, not cool…
I’m still new to blogging so I haven’t made many through blogging yet. But I have some IRL friends that have blogs too. So, that’s cool.
I never thought I’d meet as many people as I have from all over, and I haven’t even been blogging that long. There’s a ton of awesome people out there on the internets, and I make sure they don’t seem like serial killers first.
Aw you so sweet.
I’m really lucky to have you guys as friends as well. As long as we’re being sappy here’s what I appreciate about you:
You are a super generous and sweet person but don’t make a big deal about it. Also, you are SO unique. Electronic hugs all around!
We all need friends we can hang out with or just talk to ….other than the hubs!
Well….www.hellodefine.com & http://mylifeaftermath.wordpress.com/are my real life friends.
Kelsey @ http://www.readysetfeast.com/ is my blog soulmate…but I don’t know her in real life yet.
When you run the Houston Marathon you should have a meet up!
kelsey is hilarious.
You are my only one
I have met a few pro triathletes whose blogs I follow (Bree Wee and Hillary Biscay), and Bree even rides bikes with my parents…does that count as being friends with them?
I’ve met some great girls through blogging! My husband always thinks I will be kidnapped and murdered when I go to “blogger meetups” but knock on wood, it hasn’t happened yet.
hahahhaa.
I have met a TON of blogger friends through the Tampa Bay Lady Bloggers group and even made a ton of new running buds! I do owe it to you for getting me hooked on reading blogs (reading, not stalking lol) and getting me to want to start my own.
New to the blog world so I haven’t met anyone in person yet. It’s nice that you have a nice group of girls to hang with.
Yeah, your homie hasn’t been walking at all without you and is getting lazy. Better get home soon.
I just got mad at billy because he is moving me to N. Cali instead of S. Cali. Rude. I really want to join the walking crew and get yogurt land after. NYC marathon…that was awesome.
i love that i’m slowly making blog/social media friends with the same passions i have! i feel like i have friends now matter where i go (kind of) haha
I agree with you, we all need a Pam! I need to find my Pam
Hi! First I wnat to appologize if this comment shows up twice! I found this blog thru another blog I was reading and I LOVE IT! I have just started running again after a long break. I usually do not have music when I run, but think I will need some jams as I start longer runs. SOOO, I want to know what’s on your playlist? I recently started creating on and thought who better to ask than SR and those who follow ths blog. Again LOVE the blog!
thanks for reading. i actually rarely listen to music when i run but maybe some other people can give you some tunes suggestions.
I love my blog friends. I’m flying to DC this weekend to visit one. We met at a race in Miami for the first time in January and it was love at first sight. Ok, not really. Cuz we see each other all the time on our blogs. So probably love at one millionth sight.
I’ve made different friends through blogging, but I’m still relatively new! No one really lives by me, but hopefully soon I can meet with some others! I think it would be nice to make an actual interaction. I’m always interested to see if people are a lot different online than in person.
You certainly are missed down here lady. Without you I have no one to practice examining foot funguses anymore! If you don’t hurry back soon with those funky feet, I may forget how to diagnose! My professional career is riding on your shoulders, homie.
YAY! SO fun.
I’ve met a couple of bloggers in real life–and they are so great! I met Janae (super sweet) and Janetha (awesome) Ashley (hilarious) and a few others in June at a potluck. I’m also friends with 2 ladies who I knew before we had blogs! FUn.
Ahh, thanks friend! Can’t wait to see you at the studio soon! Doesn’t the boat have rails? Make a barre out of it and do some plies while your fishing!
I love meeting people from blog world! Just met one on Saturday’s long run, and she was awesomely cool. Because my blog is so awesome I just assume that people who read it will be equally so.:)
I haven’t met anyone IRL from blogging. Seems like no bloggers in S FL.
That’s so awesome that you have such awesome blog friends! You gals are all like celebrities to me
Yes! And everyone of them are just awesome. When I first started posting, I didn’t even knew complete strangers could be my BFFs one day. And I’m so glad to have found your blog because the adventures you gals have are simply fab.
Wow, besides you? This is a tough one. (I tease, though if I haven’t mentioned it 56 or 200 times, your blog was definitely one of the reasons why I started my own 2 months ago!). I have recently found a rad site for bloggers called yeahwrite.me and the founder/editor – Erica Mullenix – has agreed to be my friend if I will stop stalking her on Twitter and begging her to friend me on Facebook. It’s totally a coincidence that I just found out TONIGHT that I scored an HONORABLE MENTION on their writing competition from this week and I’m only marginally freakin’ excited about it. I think Erica gave me the nod because she feels sorry for me, but I don’t care – I’ll take it!
When I saw the picture of you running with Pam near the beach, I totally thought it was a picture of you running with Fergie. She totally looks like Fergie in that picture! Anyway, I don’t have a blog so therefore I have no friends. No blog friends that is!
aww chica es muy simpatica!
run, lunch when you return home safe & w/lotsa dinero in su pockets!!
xo
Help! I keep getting sent to your spam filter. Although I could be a super spammer
Miiissssss you! Hurry home so we can all get together
it went through, spammer.
I wish Nicole and I weren’t so far away! Or that we didn’t have to work 9-5 because then we could drive on up for FroYo or still all your fish that you bring home (yum).
Ah, blogging has been a lifesaver for me as I am on the move! Meeting like minded peeps that you can connect with online is fab, not stalkerish at all!
Love these girls!
I’ve just been waiting for the right time to attack. BTW lets hit up that really desolate trail for a run when you get back…
