Gwyneth Paltrow going for a bike ride. This article is about her diet and fitness tips. She does the Tracy Anderson Method.
Truly is a miracle. Never did I imagine that in my 30′s, after two children, I would be able to change my body to the degree to which I have. Tracy’s method works! All you have to do is put the time in and you will see results you never thought possible.
Russell Simmons and Heidi Klum taking an outdoor yoga class. Apparently Simmons is big into yoga. Klum says,
I’ve never done diets. But I also do not sit on the couch with my feet up and eat one potato chip bag after the next and one burger after the other. I think you have to kind of do a little bit of everything.
It’s easier to drop post-pregnancy weight it you make getting a shape a priority after giving birth.
Pink and husband Carey Hart looking like hardcore cyclers. Here’s a workout from Pink’s former personal trainer.
KISS. ‘Keep it simple stupid’ is my motto. One hour of exercise three times a week is easy and consistent.
Get outdoors. Get outdoors for your cardio workouts; take in some fresh air and get out of the gym.
Keep hydrated. Each day, drink a liter of water for every 31 kilograms you weigh; it cleanses you and keeps your body alkalised on a cellular level. Water affects your metabolism, skin, eyesight, and life in general; it’s the oil of our bodies. If you try this for two weeks you’ll see a huge change.
Skinny Kate Middleton playing some sort of game. Lacrosse?
According to this article, Kate’s a “gym bunny” who does an hour of exercise daily. She prefers running, rowing, cycling, yoga, and weight lifting. so pretty much everything.

Reese Witherspoon hiking
"We’ve done private training a few times but she usually comes to the group class," says YogaHop owner Matthew Reyes, who has trained Witherspoon for the past five years. "I treat Reese the same as I treat everyone else but I’m glad she feels comfortable enough to come in with the general public."
Reyes enthusiastically endorses the 35-year-old’s other passion (running) as a perfect complement to yoga but warns, "Women across the board, especially runners, have a much better developed lower body than upper body."
That’s why he pushes the actress to find her edge in every power yoga session. "My goal is, if someone were to work out until their arms were exhausted, take a day off then do it again, take a day off and do it again. You will see some really nice development in your muscular tone."
Pippa Middleton ice skating.
Like her sister, she does a little of everything to stay fit: running, biking, field hockey, and Pilates. source

Kate M. : field hockey!
I loveee celeb gossip. Probably because it’s pretty much the exact opposite of everything in my life.
I really hate when famous people claim they “never work out”. Sure, some may be blessed with really good genes but it takes so much work to stay looking that good as we age!
I like the tip about drinking water … I agree with that one.
Ugh, every time I see Gwyneth Paltrow’s diets and/or exercise routines I cringe. She seems to always take stuff to the extreme I feel like. I read somewhere (maybe your blog?!) that a reporter tried to follow her diet for 2 weeks or something and passed out due to lack of nutrition or something. Yikes!
Yeah I’m with ya (and the comment below). Plus the weights she advocate for – no more than 3 pounds? Please. You lift stuff day to day heavier than that; strength training needs lifting to exhaust the muscle!
Tracy Anderson freaks me out. I have a hard time seeing how her method can be healthy and how people are able to maintain it.
Oh yea I break out bad if I don’t drink enough water.
Kate is playing field hockey. Lacrosse is a stick with a net at the end that you hold up over your head!
Great job in DC!
Haha. I hope SR was joking about not knowing what sport that was
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah i totally was. or not. or just lazy to google it.
What a fun post to see what all the celebs are doing for diet/exercise. I heard Kate Middleton did some crazy diet before her wedding to slim down. I have such a hard time with extreme diets. I love to see the different workouts though. I really wish we had the Barre classes that you take around here – I think the closest one is like an hour and a half away!
Kate Middleton is playing field hockey!
So interesting to read, thanks for posting!! Also I am running my first 1/2 on April 29th….read your blog every day for inspiration!
I think Gwyneth’s helmet is on backwards. Ahahaha. That or it’s just loose and falling too far forward. But I really think it’s plain ‘ole backwards.
These Bia’s make me strongly regret the desicion I made to eat my Vanilla Frozen Yogurt with Salted Dark Chocolate and caramel sauce… who really wants abs like that anyway.
Meh. I am more fun to cuddle with
I’ll start Gwyneth’s diet after Easter candy season is over…
I want to have Kate Middleton’s figure, she’s gorgeous….
All these people look so cute when they are working out. I always look such a mess. It is just not fair. Tone it down Alessandra…..it is just too much perfection to handle.
Bean, I agree. How come I don’t look like that when I run? These were fun to read, though. Thanks for sharing!
It is always a good reminder to us non-famous folks that celebrities need to workout hard and eat well to have their fabulous figures, too. Fun post!
I like seeing this stuff, it’s nice to know celebrities are semi-normal, instead of saying that they eat double cheeseburgers all day long and are just naturally skinny…ya, right!
I really enjoyed this, thanks <3
The Middletons are my fave!! They’re too cute!!
Love reading about celebs and their workouts. I think..I do a little of everything too why don’t I look like her…then realize i didn’t do any of that last week…hmm..need to re-assess.
Great tip about water! The “oil of our bodies,” or something like that. I’ve already forgotten. I have to stop trying to live up to these celebs unattainable standards, though. Kale soup and ground turkey everyday? Yuck. 90 minutes of exercise two times per day (did I read 2x daily?), anywhoo, maybe this can set the standard for one extreme of the skinny vs fat dichotomy.
I LOVE to run and I life weights 3x per week, but I think it’s important for those who are struggling with the idea of getting out there and getting healthy to think what it takes is soup, water, and tea everyday, all day, plus 90 minutes of rigorous exercise. That right there is discouraging.
Love your blog! Long time reader!
Oh my word. If I can be even a littttttle bit as gorgeous as Alessandra after I have my first child, I will die a happy person. But I also think her beauty comes from within, so maybe I’ll work on the interior AND exterior.
Love how you mix up your posts so I can get all my running/celebrity/travel info in one place. xx
now if only I can afford their personal chefs, too…
Thanks for the links! I love celeb gossip, and you just gave us one-stop-shopping! Awesome!!
I would love to have a trainer or someone telling me what to do everyday.
I was really surprised to see that I’m not featured in this post. I mean, everyone wants to know what my workouts are
These are great so everyone realizes that these ladies have to work just as hard as we do to look the way they do. There really is no short cut! I’m so stealing this idea … or post a blog about your blog about their blogs….you see where I’m going with this….hahahahaha
I love that Pink is into cycling- I use a few of her songs on different playlists for my spin classes.
You’re right about our upper bodies not being as well-developed. I’m personally guilty of just doing cardio because when I’m crunched for time. I tell people (and have to remind myself) to remember to do something simple like a few sets of curls, rows, or pushups every day just to stay in the habit.
