Another easy

Today is my mom’s birthday, her 29th… again.  That woman just doesn’t age.  In fact, we’re twins now since we’re both 29.

This post is about my mom and how awesome she is.

Happy Birthday Mom!

We’re off to bike ride to breakfast and then do some surprise spa treatments!

this was taken a few steps from the finish line.

I went in full dry heaving mode…it was not pretty and I ended up with this very classy picture, but hey, I got a PR so it was worth it!!!”

Question of the Day:

How old are you and how old do you feel?

I’m 29 but in my mind I feel like I’m 26.  Don’t know why 26 specifically but I always think that in my mind.  Ignorance is bliss, right?

Happy Birthday to your mom! I don’t understand the whole not-aging thing though – I personally like getting older! (maybe I’m just not old enough yet? I’m 28)

And those pictures are hilarious! They are some of the first I’ve seen that really are bad race pics. Thanks for sharing!

I’m 30 but feel 25-26. With the exception of the mornings after I have a bit too much wine. ;)

Happy Birthday to your mom!!!

I’ve been loving 29 for the past 20 years…I think this year I might just be mature enough to turn 30. But maybe not. Even though I’m almost 49, in my mind I still think I’m 28. 28 was a pretty unforgettable year.

Happy birthday to your Mom! I turned 30 this last birthday and honestly, it was the best birthday ever (we went to Barbados for 10 days to celebrate)! Honestly, I feel better now than I have ever felt. I eat better, exercise more, am happier in my own skin and take care of myself better. I will say, I feel, oh 21. Legal drinking age, that sounds good!

I’m 28 for the 13th time last Dec… My kids even write me cards “Happy 28th Bday for the 13th time!” One of my girls added and asked me “doesn’t that equal 41??” “NO! It equals 28 for the 13th time!” Duh… My kids know they catch up to me and then we’re twinsies. I don’t know what 41 feels like to other women but (except for the fact that I”m WAY smarter) I don’t feel physically any different than when I was in my 20′s. Actually I feel better since I”m not ever going to be pregnant again…. I just don’t like the wrinkles and I don’t like botox so I’m stuck…

hope you two ladies have a fun, happy, relaxing day!! I virtually just sent you a dozen red-velvet crumbs cupcakes! hope you enjoy them!! :) xo

I’m 29 and I have 24 stuck in my head, which makes the impending 30 seem really not exciting. I didn’t think I would care about 30, but I have not been looking forward to it since I turned 29! Happy bday to your mom! Enjoy the spa!

I’m 27, but I feel 24. Or 19. I never believed it that people forgot how old they were. But I totally do. 27 doesn’t really seem like an age that could possibly be me!

I’ve got a few months on you, so I’ll let you know what 30 is like when I turn it in July. yes, I am scared :) .

Age I feel? Well I’m not as crazy, boy obsessed, and booze-tastic as I was in my early 20s. Maybe that’s growing up, gosh dangit? It ain’t so bad…. ;)

I just had this conversation with a friend about 5 minutes ago. I am 38 (weird…) and will always feel about 18 or so – extremely young at heart. I think it is totally possible to be young and immature yet still a responsible adult – it’s all about balance. I remember my Mom always saying the same thing when I was younger and never understood what she meant. I get it now!

Happy Birthday SR Momma.

My body feels old… I’ve definitely beat it up all these 25 years.

Mentally, I still feel 15. Especially at work. I work with engineers, so not only are they crazy smart but the youngest ones are in their 30s, so I’m basically the baby. (But they still have to listen to me because I’m the money lady!) They’ll talk about certain events in recent history or about a song and then usually add, “Laura, were you even alive then?”

Yes I was… Jerk.

I’m 27 but in my mind I feel about 22 or 23. I still get ID’d when ordering alcohol anywhere! Most people think I’m 18 or 19. Not sure if that’s good or bad?? Hubs turns 30 this year and is not happy about it. I tell him all the time that I’m going to throw him a surprise party and he threatens me that I better not! haha :)

I am 43! I too don’t understand why we (women in general) don’t like to tell their real age. Who cares? Every year is a year wiser, smarter, aged …yes, like a good wine, and privileged b/c the more I read the obituaries the younger people seem to be dying.

Say your age and be proud!

(However, with that said I feel about 35? Don’t know why??? ;-)

I just turned 37 on Wednesday the 22nd and I wanted to barf. However, I am still in the same age category for Webmd so that made me feel better when I had to diagnose myself….which if you have done that always brings up the worst possible conditions. However, 37….not fun, I am on the downward slide to 40. So, I am staying 32 for a while.

I am 35 and still feel like I am 20, inexperienced with so much more to learn. I am in awe that my age makes me eligible to run for president (really?). But then again, I don’t really consider my age too much. I feel good, have a great life and have lots of fun. So maybe I don’t really feel any age. Let’s go with that I feel ageless.

I am 43 and I feel great in the sense that I am happy to be where I am and have done what I have done so far mistakes and all. I also may be going against the current here but your body knows! What I mean is that you can eat well and lead a happy healthy life in order to help your body and soul feel better … BUT … you are the age you are … what I mean by this is that the body KNOWS … just wait until you turn 40 and suddenly after 20/20 vision you wake up one day asking your daughter what the Aleve label states … be happy, be healthy, but you are the age that you are … I just own it!
