Today I met my friend Pam for lunch at Chuck E. Cheese. Random but it worked out well with the kids: they could play games and we could play at the salad bar.
Free daycare and unlimited salad bar for about $7? Are you kidding me?! If I had kids, I’d live at the Mouse.

Salad trip #1. I was doing mile repeats on the salad bar, gotta get my money’s worth.
The place seemed small to me, but maybe it was because when we were kids, everything seemed so much bigger and awesomer.
But I still got a game of air hockey in… and lost.
The kids got to pick out a toy with their tickets. I really wanted the mini slinky but Pam said no. I threw a fit, she spanked me in the bathroom and then we walked over to froyo.

Oh interesting..last night my train friends and I had a conversation about Chucky Cheese. One girl worked there in high school and another’s son did. Both told HORRIBLE stories. Another one’s son went and played in the ball pit and ended up in the hospital 4 days later. (her son is older, hopefully there are no ball pits). They told stories of needles, dirty diapers, etc. I am not sure I will let V go.

I used to LOVE Chuck E Cheese when I was little, but then my friend convinced me the play place was haunted, and I never would go back to it (I was very gullible as a child haha). Also, the animatronic singing mouse kind of freaked me out, not going to lie.

I only like chuck e cheese if I can bring a giant can of lysol and a lifetime supply of hand sanitizer. But my kids love it. I do like an all you can eat salad bar. I need to order myself a pair of those shorts!
Funny, we joked as soon as we were pregnant when kid asks to go to Chuckie Cheese our answer will be “Chuckie what?, Chuckie where?, Chuckie who?”

I was just at Chuck E Cheese last month! My 6yr. old chose to go there for her birthday. We never eat there , we just go for the games. (skee ball is my fav) Great race pics!
Salad bar at chuck e cheese??? That must be a California thing. Ours only sells coke and frozen pizza. And happiness, but some people say you can’t buy that. My kids disagree.
Years ago I worked at Chuck e Cheese and I always got in trouble for giving away prizes to all the kiddies…

And I totally know what you mean about a place seeming GIANT when you’re a kid and then visiting it in adult reality and being shocked. That’s how I felt when I visited my preschool as an adult.
