Today’s the big day 9/10/11

WORKOUT – Pre-wedding run 8.1 miles/1:13

TODAY IS MATT AND MARLIE’S WEDDING!  9/10/11

I got up early to go run and stopped to grab a cup of coffee at one of the mini breakfast tables that are on each floor of our hotel.

As I was getting on the elevator I ran into the groom so we had to have a cup of coffee together and go see everyone else for a minute. (all of our hotel rooms are right next to each other)

THE GROOM!

My mom was wrapping wedding gifts and Button button just wanted to rap because that’s how we do.  He wants to tell ya’ll, “Westside!”

After I laid down a couple beats with The Button, I finally got out running around 7:15am.  I headed downtown on the Riverwalk which was gorgeous; I’m loving running around here.

There were a ton of people out which makes for great people watching, one of my favorite things to do while running besides calculating how many pieces of cake I can eat tonight without splitting my dress.

RunningSkirts sent me some clothes so I wouldn’t have to run naked through Portland.  So thoughtful, no one wants to throw up on the BIG DAY.

{I have on the Aqua Wave Ultra Swift Skirt and the Chocolate Mesh Performance Tank}

I like that the skirt is a little shorter, thinner and more lightweight than my other RunningSkirt.  It has briefs underneath instead of shorts, and at first I wasn’t so sure about those, but I forgot all about them when I started running – they’re actually really comfortable.

And the top is lightweight and form fitting without being too tight or short.

**The winner of the Aspaeris Pivot shorts is Melanie Velleco!

best wedding date ever! That’s awesome.

Nice job on your run. I love people watching too. Unfortunately, I’m pretty limited in my people watching running locations around here.

Um, is Sutton a baby model? Because if he is not, HE NEEDS TO BE?! I mean do they get any cuter then that?!

Also, the running skirt looks awesome. I have never been brave enough to try one, but I may have to pick one up!

YAY for the big day! Matt looks so young with his short!!

I really like that skort on you. Which do you prefer shorts or skort for running?

I was just in Portland a few weeks ago and loved running on the Riverwalk–it was so pretty! Congrats to your bro and his bride!

I love how light the ultra swift running skirts are, and the performance top KS my favorite to run in! I love the fit. I prefer the bbriefs to the cocomoression shorts. Some people can’t seem to get over the brief thing but I love it!

Have fun at the wedding,

That looks like a beautiful place to run. Congrats to your brother!!! The running skirt is adorable. Mine if boring black, bright blue is much more fun.

Hope everyone is having a great night!

We were in Portland for one night on our long road trip and my husband is constantly saying that we need to move there. Jokingly, but I think he is semi-serious. If only we weren’t upside down here in Oceanside. Eh, I like Socal anyway.

I love that skirt! Not a fan of the longer running skirts, this one looks like a good length.
Hope you guys are having a blast at the wedding, can’t wait to see the pics!
