Welcome to LA…

Yeah for LA.  Yeah for the 405 parking lot.

On the way up north to Calabasas, we stopped at a golf store; Jaymo looked at clubs and I picked out the clubs I would use if I was a midget…

And the clubs I’d use if I was a girl…

And the bag I’d carry if I was a giant…

And the guy I’d pull a Tiger on if I was single…

While there we met up with Katie and Merrick; M checked out clubs and us girls checked ourselves out.

Yeah baby.  You know you’re not cool when you’re wearing your sunglasses inside.

After teaching Phil Michelson all my tricks, we said our goodbyes and stopped at the Yogurt Bar which is mass lame.  The Yogurt Bar is to Yogurtland what  Sanjaya is to Andrea Bocelli.  A major letdown.

But I still ate it.

And then we did more of the usual… shopped at a few stores, spilled on myself and then took bathroom self portraits.  Like I said, the usual.

When I was finally able to tear myself away from the mirror, we eventually made it up to Calabasas to our friends Reese and Jim’s place.  They had a huge spread out for us, as usual.

Rubbed, rotisseried and BBQ’ed chicken that was outta this world.

Reese should teach a hostess class – she is the best.  And I should be her first student because when I have people over to my house, I make them wait on me.

Got a half marathon in the morning so I better get to bed!

Good luck with your half marathon! I have always wanted to run one, but I’m in high school still, so all of the good half marathons are always during the fall or spring when it’s cross country or track season!

Hahaha love this. I used to live in Calabasas… it’s gorgeous there, but you have to drive at least 45 minutes to get anywhere. Not. worth. it.

Golf=boring is right. I will happily attend golf tournaments but only to drink and people watch…since I can’t peoplewatch when the hubs puts golf on at home, I just try to find something else to do. Good luck at your half!

The stuff on that grill looks AMAZING! Cakes, cookies, ice cream… yuck, take it away. Giant slabs of seasoned meat… I’m drooling!

What a fun day! We don’t even have good froyo places here PERIOD. I’d take that crappy one any day! Good luck with your half!

Okay – so here in Indiana there is NO way we could bring our dog inside a store like that! I’m so jealous. Is he allowed in all stores?
