Last night the Grillmaster and I had a hot, spicy date with some garlic. You know things are going down to Chinatown when garlic’s involved.
I was sent this Olde Westport Garlic Spice Blend to try out; I was excited to because we loved their tortilla soup mix so I figured it had to be decent. Or at least make for some great kissing breath.
Please note The Deadliest Catch on the TV; we’re like fisherman up in herre or something.
I took some chicken breasts from Costco, rubbed spicy mustard on them and sprinkled them with the garlic blend.
Gourmet or not…
I let them sit and marinate for 20 minutes. gourmet.
But only because Jack in the Crack stayed 20 minutes later at the golf range than he was supposed to. not gourmet.
I sorta love that JeJeez is always willing to grill out and that’s he’s pretty dang good at it too.
Oh man, this was tasty. Jaybo grilled the chicken to perfection, and the spice blend was just spicy and flavorful enough for my wimpy spice and heat-o-meter. We both thought the chicken was awesome. Almost as awesome as Tori Spelling’s driving skills.
Who wants some Cat lady Blogs??
Today’s hot mama is Katie!
My name is Katie from Katie Rose Fitness.
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer but more importantly I’m a wife and mom to one little guy with another one on the way!
When I’m not pregnant (which seems to be the trend lately:) I love training for races; half marathons, marathons and triathlons. I can’t wait to get back into it this Fall once I have my little peanut.
Katie Rose Fitness follows my life; being a mom, training, decorating, cooking, and whatever else the day brings!
There are an inordinate amount of pictures of these two:
