SHIRTS FOR SALE

by SkinnyRunner on June 10, 2011

WORKOUT – Ran outside 11.1 miles/1:31   hilly, with music

The first 6 miles were great and the last 5 were tough: the energy light switch turned off.  blown breaker.  I took a lot of rest breaks even sitting down on the curb once  looking like a homeless person.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The SR SHIRTS are now for sale!  150 of the 425 are already sold from the pre-sale email list.  These are new designs, and if you don’t dig these, never fear; I’ve already ordered more shirts (pink coming and tank tops!) for new designs and maybe another printing of some of the older ones…
Thanks to Jaymee for all the design work and putting the pictures together.  If you need any sort of design work, she’s your girl.  You just don’t know it yet.
The shirts are the same technical fabric as last time, and I recommend washing them in cold water.
For the FLOCK OF SEAGULLS, the only size available is XS.  Small is already sold out.  I am wearing an XS in the picture.
Picture_100
For the DON’T STOP, they’re available in S-L.  XL is sold out and I don’t have any XS in this design.  I’m wearing a S in the pic.
Picture_101
For the LOOK GOOD, they come in only M or L.   No smaller sizes.  I’m wearing a M in the pic.
Picture_102
Please take note of the sizes for each design; I bought whatever was cheapest from the shirt manufacturer which is is why there’s a lot of different sizing.
PRICES and SHIPPING
This time around the shirts are $26 for the short sleeves and $35 for the long sleeves.
I apologize for the $1 price increase; there were some unforeseen costs last time that I didn’t take into account and hopefully I’ve figured everything out so there won’t be anymore price increases in the future.
The good news is that I have already donated 100% of the profits of the first 100 shirts to a family in need.  (No, not my family of shoes:) )
Shipping is free in the US.  International pays the cost of the shirt and $10.  Please let me know if you’re international when you’re ordering the shirts.
  I send them the cheapest way to keep costs down so the shipping might not be the speediest….
PAYMENT
To make things as simple as possible I am only accepting cash, check or through google checkout.  No paypal.  GC is just like paypal and just as easy.
If you would like a shirt, please email me (skinnyrunnerblog@gmail.com) in a separate email:
1. What design and what size
2.  How you want to pay
3. Your name (sometimes email addresses are different than actual names and it creates a little confusion on my part.  That, and I’m slow)
**If you are paying by check, I will then email you my mailing address to send the check to.
**If you are paying by google checkout, the next response from me will be a google invoice sent to you.  I’m trying to streamline the whole process so unlike last time, one shirt doesn’t require 6-8 emails each.
**PLEASE make sure your address on your check or google checkout is correct – thanks!
If I don’t respond quickly to your email, give me time; I’m making my way through them all!
All of this info will also go under the shirts tab.
You should create a zazzle store so they handle the printing and shipping of the shirts..you just upload the designs and choose the prices, then you get the revenue that is above what it costs to make it (and I assume Zazzle takes some too). I love Zazzle– I even had my wedding invites printed there.
ive made a shirt on zazzle for myself before and it was $47. just too expensive to sell…
Will you have more sizes of the “Seagulls” in the future? I don’t think my “tatas” will fit in the XS. If so, I can email you my address and be on your “pre-sale email list”. Let me know. Thanks. Cute designs!
That makes me excited! I couldn’t fit into an XS even if I had the stomach flu for a year.
The XS definitely runs bigger than you’d think an XS would be. Armpit to armpit across the front is about 19″. Overall length down center back is 24″, armpit to bottom hem along the side is about 14″. It’s kinda wide on me and I don’t even think I’m that small, but I love the design so I will probably keep it anyway :)
The seagulls one is lovely. Best design I’ve seen on a running tee in years.
You should create your own shirt business and give the big running apparel companies a run for their money.
I would also say, DONT put them in the dryer (even on low). :) I think that is where I made my mistake ( i did wash on cold) and the lettering ended up ‘smearing’ or melting off some of the letters. :) Cant wait for new one!
I pretty much discovered your blog just a few days ago and am definitely ordering a shirt!
The fact that even an experienced runner such as yourself has hard days where you have to stop gives me hope – the most I’ve run straight is 5.4miles and I don’t know why but I guess I thought once you stop those miles don’t count together anymore but maybe I’m being a little bit hard on myself. I’m going to try breaking for a few minutes today once I’m tired and then running some more :)
I love the Seagulls, but never in a million years would I fit in an XS. Any chance it’ll come out in M? PLEEEEAAASE?
Curious if you’re using a pedometer or a special app to measure your running distance. Which is it, please?
Reply
spicyshelly June 11, 2011 at 6:14 am
Oh and I do love the seagull shirt but I’d need a medium so I’m going to stand down and wait for the next batch.
Again you have out done yourself! Those are fabulous designs! I’m putting in a request to bring back the Seagulls in non-skinnyrunner sizes :) I’m a skinny runner at heart, but my outsides…not so much.
OMG! I must have a seagulls shirt but I don’t think I can fit in a size XS unless I give up food. And since I run solely so I can consume more food than usual, this just doesn’t work! How do I get on the presale list for a seagulls running shirt in a future different size? And what size would an average size 6 girl need?
Reply
SkinnyRunner June 12, 2011 at 7:16 am
im making more, promise! id say a small or medium on the sizing?
Amanda@RunningOnCoffee June 13, 2011 at 5:12 pm
Got my Flock of Seagulls tee today! Thanks skinny runner :)
Jennifer- I’m a 6 in Lululemon tops and the XS Flock of Seagulls top has some room to spare.
by the way, Skinny Runner- can’t wait to see what the tank you ordered looks like!
I love the shirts!! BTW your hair looks amazing! How do you curl it?
Reply
SkinnyRunner June 15, 2011 at 2:32 pm
just with a 1′ curling iron. hold the iron vertically instead of horizontally is my only trick.
