Drug den

by SkinnyRunner on April 30, 2011

We left these cute guys today to drive the 3 and a half hours to Eugene for the race tomorrow.

Big K was dancing in my booties.  He’s got the moves.  Hopefully he doesn’t take after Aunt Ham or his career as a go-go dancer will be painfully short lived.

After working on the boat this morning, we finally hit the open road:

And made it to the expo right in time before it closed.

After a few more rounds of pictures, they are related to me after all, and checking into the world’s worst motel, we went out to dinner at Stacy’s Covered Bridge Restaurant.

The tasty dinner almost made up for the crackhead accommodations.

Now we have all our stuff laid out and it’s time to go to sleep.  Hopefully we don’t catch any addictions in this room…

He’s growing his hair out so he can donate it to kids that have cancer & don’t have any. That makes him an awesome person, not a crack head.

I go to school at UO here in Eugene. I love reading your blog! I am hoping to run the Eugene half marathon next year. Your blog is great inspiration : ) Just wanted to let you know you’ve got a fan cheering you on tomorrow! Not literally…I’ll be cheering in my head, since it would be weird to break out in cheer in the library.
Although I think the path goes right outside the library towards the end!

oh and p.s. motels here are totally nasty! you are brave
