My blog is a food and fitness blog focused on eating whole foods and pursuing new athletic goals. At the moment, I’m training for my first 10K. I started my blog when I was misdiagnosed with a sugar intolerance, so my blog was at first about avoiding sugar altogether.
Now that this diagnosis has been reversed, I have maintained my blog and altered it to be about everything else I’ve been blogging about… and I still like to lower the amount of sugar in recipes!
I’m also a little unique in that I’m slightly heavier than most fitness bloggers. About a year and a half ago, I decided to start losing weight from my 240-lb frame. I lost about 60 pounds and am now in pretty good shape, but I’m not tiny and I don’t think I ever will be.
To be clear, this is NOT a weight loss blog. I’m really happy with myself and my body and I hope I can reach other girls out there who, like me, are more focused on having a healthy body than a “perfect” one.
