WORKOUT – Elliptical 60 mins
This weekend we took Marni to a park/lake in Irvine so she could get her marathon and triathlon training in.
Ok, so there were a few rest breaks.
And photo shoots while Marni was trying to hunt ducks.
It’s probably pretty obvious that I haven’t yet received my black belt in ironing.

What did you do this weekend?

Its been gorgeous here so just enjoying the sun…
i enjoyed my first real obligation free weekend! it’s so nice not to be in classes or having to study for a silly test. i got to decorate my new apt with my roomies which was awesome too.
i’m jealous of your sunshine. while yesterday was nice and sunny, today is WAY rainy and overcast. boo!
Ran through C-bad – weather by the beach is perfect – 8 miles/1:13. Then made seriously-bad-for-you-but-ridiculously-good bacon, cheddar, and grits waffles. So bad. But so good. Ok. Nap time.
Fun pictures!! Marni’s so cute
Lovely pictures! I so miss Cali! My weekend started out AMAZING! I found out I won a vacation from a radio station on Friday! After riding that high (okay I am still riding that I won something high) my boyfriend and I went to a baseball game (he got FREE tickets). Today is chill day aka hibernating from the killer AZ heat.
swam 50 minutes yesterday and ran 4 miles today. other than that, just staying outta the east coast florida rain and watching movies with my kids.
bought a water heater to go in with the complete re-pipe of the house. worked my legs really hard. studied like a college kid. met a bloodhound/future new buddy.
Yesterday worked in the morning
then hiked with hubby and dog in the aft, came home and made homemade pizza with fresh basil and my garden tomatoes! Today is a rainy day. Ran this morning and came home and did my seasonal closet clean out. I am the opposite of a hoarder. Every change of season go thru my closet, if it doesn’t fit, and I haven’t worn it that season….out it goes. Love it!
Ran 9 miles Saturday. This Sunday morning the alarm went off at 4 AM as planned. But I was just too tired. I had laid out everything for my weekly long run. I went back to sleep and work up at 8:30. I had slept for about 13 hours. After breakfast I decided to punish myself for being so lazy and started to change the spark plugs in my old truck. It took about 5 hours in 102 plus heat. But I’m done. I think I sweat as much changing the plugs as I would have running 13 miles. But you take what the day offers.
how beautiful! We visited my fam in NOLA, ran 8 miles, and ate. a lot.
gym, farmer’s market, prep for work week, finished my usweekly and marie claire in the sun.
bc i’m a devoted reader, i know we share the intense love of cream cheese icing. today i was watching some show on food network that talked about a banana’s foster dessert (blah blah), but with a side of cream cheese ice cream. why on earth has no one invented this for my freezer yet?! thought you might appreciate that…and perhaps we should do the damn thing and capitalize on it.
Haha! I never iron. If it gets really bad I throw it in the dryer and pray it won’t shrink!
I ran at the track. Did hw. took the yorkies for a run. more hw. now doin hw. well taking break from hw to read fave blogs. then more hw
Sister in law is in town with her three kids. Had to go over to the Mother in laws house with my wife and kids all day Saturday, then to the hotel that the sister in law was staying at so I could watch my three kids, her three kids, and a bunch of other kids go bananas in a 20×20 room for six hours. It was relaxing.
I worked AKA yelled at people with no teeth… You know… Regular Texas stuff
I ironing is overrated. I ate and slept. Perfect weekend all around!
Cutie pie little Marni! Quite the brick workout she got in!
Crazy weekend with lots of friends and lots of events. Super fun but behind the 8 ball to go back to work this morning!
Cute pictures! I ran, race a 5K and hung out with a girlfriend while Rob got the airplane through annual inspection.
Props for at least attempting to use an iron. My wife, on the other hand, has never lifted an iron in her entire life. After all, that’s what dryers are for, right?
I did alot of nothing on Fri and Sat AM, then Sat PM went to a wedding/reception, and then had a bbq/boating outing on Sunday. It was busy! I usually like my weekends low key with little to do.
i went to the movies…and baked a dinosaur pie, NBD, the regular. ;0)
Ran my first 30 Km race.
