Look what came in the mail today from my stalker, the Competitor Group who puts on the Rock ‘n’ Roll races. They love me, they seriously love me.
In these two tiny packages of love were these medals:

And I’m pretty sure I have another medal coming too… a double dirty down in the desert, something or rather for running Vegas and Phoenix.
If you remember from HERE, I also got a $25 PF Chang’s gift card.
And HERE I got another medal in the mail for 2 half marathons that I’d already received medals for.
I guess the only thing that can be said is:
I’m sure I’m the only person they send all these medals to. They probably hand carved them over hot coals like Paul Revere-style. I mean, that face, come on?? Who wouldn’t fall in love with that and want to send a bunch of superfluous medals to??

i, too, have been unsuccessful in finding decent headphones. i think my ears are super weird shaped or something, but those effing things will NOT stay in. i have jimmied up a concoction where i loop the ear piece through my headband, then around my ear. headband holds them in position enough to hear music.
