A marathon….

by SkinnyRunner on December 6, 2009

“A marathon is just a 10k with a 20 mile warm up.”

I’d like to say that a marathon is a very humbling experience.  You can quote me on that.

Yeah no crap. :-) anxious to hear how you did.

CIM was freaking cold in Sacramento today. Record temps and calling for snow tonight in a city where it does not snow!!

Get some rest. Eat lots and drink (water or whatever) more.

I found out a couple days ago that I’m at the point where I can run a 10k at a reasonable pace without stopping so I’m loving this quote. Time for me to sign up for the Disney marathon? lol jk (maybe the 2012 disney marathon… :) )

Uh oh. That is the exact word I used (humbling) for my first as it did not go nearly as well as I had planned. Can’t wait to hear about your experience and I hope you are recovering well.

I am DYING to hear how the race went!!! come back soon and tell me all about it!
Also, I’m left handed too, and also 27, which is TOTALLY a scary age. It IS old. Don’t even get me started on turning 28 in a few months.
