Husbo-doiburger and I decided that if I made a certain amount of $jingle$ fishing this summer that I should treat myself to a little present in the form of expensive shoes And, of course, there was the infamous pizza fight a few days ago that legitimized this decision as well…
So I’m having a tough time deciding between a classic leather boot and a classic pump… the key being that if I’m going to spend this much money, I better wear said shoe to the grave and in the casket as well. So when giving your opinion, please consider what my casket outfit would be.
I think Jessica Biel is wearing Loeffler Randall boots in this picture but I’m not 100% sure:
So if you were spending the money, would you go for…
a) the sexy, red 5 inch heel
b) the classic leather boot
c) Justin Timberlake shoeless

Okay that’s like choosing between air or water for survival. My heart would gravitate to the pump for all the sexy outfits it would serve well. Although since I have a desk job at a large facility where I must walk a ton I would go for the boot because I know I would use the crap out of them. However, for the casket I would choose pump.

Wow, I’m torn. The pumps are sexy, and the boots are sexy cas. I think it comes down to how often you would wear each pair; if you go out more all fancy for pumps, or like to keep it cas with jeans and hot boots.
Clearly I cannont make decisions, especially for shoes/clothes. I get buyers remorse all the time for not buying cute stuff.

I love them both, but I think maybe the boots would go with more and may be more comfortable? That is a hard decision for sure though…

Uh, I’m a southern girl at heart, so I gravitate towards the boots…but it’s true, you’ll definitely get more wear out of the pumps! Seeing your style through the blog, I’d go for the pumps!

I’m torn. Both are cute. I’m leaning towards the sexy pumps though. Either decision is perfect. If i were you, and i lived where you lived, id totally get the pumps. BUT the boots are mad cute too.

The boots! Classic and cool. Plus you get the sexy retro look with a mini. And your granddaughter/daughter/undertaker/gravedigger will rip them off your feet before you go in the ground anyway.

Ok I actually have the Loeffler Randall boots (I just bought them 2 weeks ago) and am EXTREMELY happy with the decision. I am the same way-I like to splurge on one or two nice pieces a year and wear them into the ground. That is why I think you should go for the boot. It is sleek, comfortable, and goes with everything. I have already worn them with skinny jeans, a mini skirt, a floral dress, and black Kova & T latex leggings. The heel may seem odd, but it is virtually undetectable and just makes you feel more polished and lifted. It is a very flattering to the calf and just a great boot overall (the leather is great quality!). The Louboutin is also to die for, but I think the boot is the better investment and will last you a lifetime.

I think the pumps because you can always find a pair of cheap, but cute, boots to wear, but you’ll be wearing the pumps year round and to every special event you can muster…and you’ll be one of the best shoed guests at any part-ay! Then again, I have a whole closet full of formal crap that I never wear, so I’m probably not the best judge.

This is a hard decision, but I think that the boots are the obvious and most logical reasonable to purchase. (I’m in law school, hence the logic). They will definitely get the most use because you can wear them anywhere! To the store, the mall, movies.. pretty much anywhere.. but at the end of the day I think that you know what you really want and that’s probably what you’re going to do. Good luck deciding.

Boots! You can get pumps anywhere, and the heels will ALWAYS get worn. A great pair of boots will last you foreva!
