If you didn’t really know my husband you might be inclined to think that he’s more the Bruno-type than the Brenda type. I mean, he loves to shop, he enjoys decorating and design, and he appreciates an oiled-up man in a thong. Ok I might have made that last part up.
So while I was gone, he went on a picture-hanging binge. He bought new “artwork” (is it art if it’s at TJ Maxx for $49.99?) and moved stuff all over the place. If I didn’t know better I’d think he was redecorating trying to impress a new boyfriend…

This is my Pepto-Bismal/Cotton Candy love child office. He saw this print in US WEEKLY, I love it already since it was in a gossip magazine; the saying came from the British Parliament or something in the 1920′s. And it has a little crown on it.

Framed our wedding pictures. IKEA frames. Maybe trying to prove to his boyfriend that he’s straight?

In his office Jaybob hung this Elvis Presley poster. I’m on the fence about it but I think I’m starting to like it. I guess he was like a famous musician or something?

J loves football. J loves Texas Tech. J loves “authentically signed and autographed” pictures of his beloved Tech players that I really made in the back room with a sharpie and a printer. Ok, I admit, they’re real. That diploma, not so much. Messing around with Tech in this house is sinful.

Jamie baby bought this mirror while I was gone. Although everything’s not centered, I like it. If you look closely you can even see what’s on tv. Who needs the TV Guide when you have a mirror?

This print used to be where the mirror/tv guide is now. Husband obviously wanted to sabotage me by confusion so I’d get lost in our very small house.

This used to be where that last print is now. Are you following me? I was so confused it took me 2 hours to find the bedroom. And there’s only 3 of them.

This little flowery number was purchased by a man and found its’ way into our abode. It actually looks nice with the chair since the chair has a circular pattern like the print. I love this chair. I wanted it; hubby didn’t. I won. Once you get married it’s the little victories that count.

Speak of the devil and his she-dog. James doesn’t want to show his face because he knows you’ll all start stalking him for decorating tips. And he likes Marni’s butt in his face too.

And this is me at 5am searching for coffee and rainbows in the kitchen. This picture explains why hubby’s searching for his oiled up man friend…

Wow! I’m impressed with your husband’s decorating skills! My husband put duct tape around the edge of a tattered rug and called it “trim” – that’s his decorating skills. (I threw it away when he deployed.)
